Our Story

Why we traded a life we loved for a less conventional one together.

We’re a family of four who traded a life we loved in the mountains of Idaho for something completely different. We weren’t running away from our old life — we wanted to see what would happen if we chose more time together, more adventure, and a little more uncertainty.

So we traded land for life at sea.

Now we live full-time aboard our sailboat, exploring the world together one passage, anchorage, and adventure at a time. But somewhere along the way, we realized this journey wasn’t just about the places we were going. It was about what we were learning — about sailing, about the world, about our kids, and about ourselves.

And we share the real version of it. The incredible days, remote anchorages, and experiences we never imagined having — but also the boat breakdowns, hard passages, tough decisions, ordinary days, and lessons that come with living untethered.
