The Route Less Traveled: Our Passage South
After months of chaos—selling a boat, buying a new one, and surviving endless shipyard setbacks—we’re finally on the move. But we’re late. Hurricane season officially began on June 1st, and we’re already behind schedule. Rather than take the traditional Thorny Path through the Caribbean, we’ve chosen the route less traveled—heading east into the Atlantic from The Bahamas in hopes of bypassing the slow and brutal slog to windward. Our goal: reach the Virgin Islands fast and make our way to Grenada or the ABCs before the storms roll in.
